No they don’t. Not even the 8’s work in it.

The 9 and 10 use the same batteries but they are not compatible with any other older go pro

The batteries for the Hero 7 only work in the go pro's 5, 6, 7, and 8. The Go Pro 9 takes a new slightly bigger battery. I would also recommend, if you buy the Go Pro Hero 9 (one awesome camera I might add, I have 2) is to pick up the dual charger (it comes with an extra battery)

They do not being as the new batteries are bigger but I read somewhere that theres an adapter you can 3D print to make them fit. Save yourself the time though and get this if you have a gopro 9! It literally is all you need
