It depends on what you want to film. You can place the camera on a selfie stick under water before they come to the boat as you are reeling it in. you can also mount the camera to your boat for other footage, mount it to your head or chest to get your POV and edit it all together to tell the story. The more cameras at the same time make for better recording but if you only have one camera you can do it all just from different Points of view.

Please try again later.Not sure how well this camera would perform for filming fish while fishing from a boat, it is waterproof to 130' and does good in low light, however there are other great products out there like Vexilar which pairs with smartphones or tables for viewing underwater fish that are specifically designed for doing just that.
