• There are stick-on pads the camera can be mounted with but there are helmets with specific mounts for gopros. Check those out.

• Yes, my son attached the helmet mount to his ski helmet, seemed to work. He likes to use the chest strap though, rather than the helmet mount.

• from what I can determine, there are possibly 2 ways: there are adhesive mounts (flat or curved) that could go on a helmet and the helmet mount. The helmet mount only works if it is a vented helmet like a bicycle helmet

• Yes it does, it comes with the helmet attachment. You only have to stick it to it

• Yes, with a harness or the tape mount. I recommend the harness.

• It mounts just like any GoPro would.. It is compatible with GoPro mounts.
