I used mine on paintball field on a headstrap and did not move and held well. For that the main thing is a good harness.

It has several different HD settings to choose from, believe it or not, like 480, 720, 720 HD "Super View" & 1080P, with different frame rates from 20 - 60 fps, or even slow motion, so you can play around with them, & see which one works best for different situations. I found that when riding my mountain bike at higher speeds, the 1080P settings frame rate was a little too slow, so on playback you'd see pixellation around the edges of the video. I would recommend the 720 HD with Super View setting, if you're mounting to a dog. Some dogs run really fast, so the faster fps under that setting will make it so the video keeps up with the speed of your pup! :)
