• It depends on what angle you are trying to achieve (i.e. first person view, view from under your board, chest view, etc.) I would recommend suction mounts and chest mounts

• For snorkeling get a hand grip with cinching wrist strap a float attachment. There are mounts for surf boards and paddleboards that go on the deck or FCS-compatible male plug to use an FCS center fin socket. The white rubber thingy called the lock plug is needed that comes with the go pro.

• Depends on the view you are interested. Head mount works the best because the camera sees what you see. Very hands free. There are mounts for surfboards also available.

• Recommend the hand held floatable handle. It has a wrist band and floats should you drop it! I carried mine snorkeling and scuba diving no problems. Highly recommend!
