• No the case itself it already waterproof. I used mine all summer at the water parks and local rivers. No leakage.

• No. It comes in its' own case. But it cannot be removed from it.

• No the housing that comes with the Go Pro is waterproof. There are different doors that allow for either waterproof protection or skeleton door which is better for recording sound.

• You shouldn't need a case. Mine is rated for over 100 feet as I recall. Just make sure everything is closed. If the camera has been abused or banged around, you could possibly get a crack in the shell or a compromised seal. Mine has held up just fine. I'm careful with my gear, but most of it does not get babied.

• The case is included and surrounds the camera out of the box and is NOT removable. All you need is the enclosed back door and you can go underwater up to 40m
