“If I am just looking for a gopro to take on a trip, is it worth the extra 70$ to buy the hero 3 to have built in wifi or not?”

• I was in the Everglades with no access to the internet - so I opted instead for the GoPro Hero and bought an extra memory card. It worked fine for my needs. I did plan on downloading my images to a library computer while in FL, but the two large capacity memory cards were enough for me.

• No, the 3 is not worth the upgrade just for wifi, unless you REALLY want the go pro app.
