Yes, the HERO11 Black is waterproof on its own down to 33 feet, so it's great as it is for snorkeling.

It's a good package but I bought the clear waterproof case separately. Also I purchased a 2 battery charger by Maxcam on Amazon for $10. You charge 1 at a time in Camera though if you prefer. Go Pro is supposed to be good to 30ft water bu don't think I would trust it.

Yes. It us already water proof to a certain extent. But if you buy the go pro water case it makes it water proof enough to easily go deep diving with. Plus you can get the head or chest mount for it
