- Answer The camera uses the same shutter button for both photos and videos. You can use the rear display screen or the Mode button on the side of the camera to select which type of recording you want to make.

- Answer The HERO11 Black comes with a few preset settings you can choose from, which you can customize if you'd like. There is a "Standard" video setting, for example, that should be great for everyday shots. If you plan to shoot something more action-oriented, want a more cinematic look, or want to shoot some ultra slow-motion shots, there are presets for those options as well.

- Answer The HERO11 Black is waterproof on its own down to 33 feet. If you plan to go deeper than that, there is a protective housing that is sold separately that will allow the camera to go as deep as 196 feet.
