Is this suitable for snorkeling? null

Yes, the HERO13 Black is great for snorkeling. It is waterproof on its own down to 33 feet and it takes great underwater photos and videos. You might want to look at using a Handler with it when you're snorkeling. The Handler makes it easy to control the HERO13 and will also float the camera if you accidentally drop it while in the water.
