• No, but the better solution is getting the GoPro app (free) and control your camera and see through your camera's lens with your smartphone. It is a very easy set up with the GoPro and your phone and you would have no need for the remote, which has only basic controls and no view of what the camera is seeing. Using your phone also gives you a much bigger display than the camera itself.

• You have to buy it separate for $80.00 or use your smart phone. I myself downloaded the program from Apple and get only error messages when I try to set up Wi-Fi to remote control it from my Apple 5s.
