• I'm almost positive it is 90 days. But as long as you have a receipt they will exchange it for it, usually no questions asked.

• Best Buy's normal exchange or return policy is 14 days. 30 if you are a premiere silver member. If your silver is still in the packaging, and you are past the 14 day mark, you may be able to talk them into letting you exchange it as they are still getting their money.

• Why not keep the silver? the silver has a 12.0 mp camera, this one only has an 8.0
