• Yes. That is also addressed on the GoPro site and the Best Buy specifications page. I had the remote for the Hero 4 Silver and was not a fan, so I took it back. Now that I have the Android phone app life is much easier.

• As there is only one remote that I can think of...the WiFi one. The answer is supposedly yes. Although, I dont really like the remote and haven't had much luck with mine personally so I do not know for sure. But, I have been told it is.
