• on the SIlver no, on the Black you can use one.. BUT remember the saying.. you get what you pay for. B&H photo has great resources on that, also, review GO PRO MIC's on youtube. com for reviews on litteraly THOUSANDS of GoPro accessories.

• If you purchase the skeleton case the sound is wonderful and not muffled, but this case is not waterproof. I did buy the skeleton case and used it in Vegas this week and the sound is great.
