“Does the black have higher sound quality for recording live music?”

• I don't think so but I'm not 100% on this one, from what I know the different in the black vs silver is in the video, for instance the black records video in 4K at 60 or 30 frames per second and the silver only does 4k at 15 frames per second, black also does 1080p at 120fps and silver tops out at 60fps, not sure what effect that has on the audio though

• It has good (not great) sound recording quality when it is out of its plastic casing.

• No, its the same as hero silver. But its better than hero 3 line up.

• reviews show that they are pretty much equal but my personal opinion, the SILVER captures much better on Live Bands/Concerts
