Out of the box, the camera has waterproofing to 33ft, anything more than that and you want to add on the Super Suit case (similar to the sealed cases from the earlier GoPro devices and in the recommendations below). It will capture a full 4K resolution, but keep in mind that the sensor is smaller than on a dedicated video camera, so the result may not be the full "cinematic" quality you are looking for. You may also want to look at some of the aftermarket filters (I added the one's I use on land and when I dive to the recommended list as well) to get a better quality video from the camera as well, depending on your use.
