Background cannot be blurred on any of the action cameras while in use. That will have to be done in post processing. The white balance is different on the GoPro 4 and 5, so if you decide to use one over the other, stick with it to stay consistent with your shots. Video quality is excellent on both. Image stabilization isn't that great. Hook up an external mic for best sound.
