Image stabilization is worth it in my opinion. Coming from a Hero 4 black.

Totally worth it. My bf uses this the session 5 on his dirt bike and it makes a huge difference.

I've owned both. The stability control for an extra $100 is totally worth it. It's a huge difference between a shaky unreadable shot and a clear awesome action shot

It is worth it. I use the session 5 on my Quadcopter and the image stabilization helps big time!
