• The HERO8 Black does have a removable battery, so you can keep several batteries charged up and swap them in and out whenever you need to if you'd like.

• Since the Hero 5 there has Not been GoPro factory battery backpack. Your only option is replacing the battery with another charged factory battery when the battery is dead
