• The protective housing is sold separately, but that housing is not needed to connect the HERO9 Black to GoPro mounts. Unlike older GoPro models, the HERO9 Black includes the mounting fingers in the body of the camera itself. That way, you can connect the GoPro to nearly all GoPro mounts without the housing or a frame. The HERO9 Black is also waterproof down to 33 feet without the need for an extra housing.

• Since hero 8; you have no case; now it comes like and inside piece attached to the camera; so dont worry you can mount it anywhere; just open the box and do not worry.

• The mounting point is built in to the bottom and flips out so that you can attach it to all your existing mounts :)
