Absolutely! I have a Hero 7 and it is completely compatible. You will first need to download a heck of a lot of new software as soon as you pair your the karma drone and handle to your wifi. But after that it fits and works perfectly. The only thing I have noticed is that when the 7 is attached to the gimbal part of the drone or handle, the new stability feature is turned off in the 7 since the gimbal is taking over for that feature. I would recommend to buy another battery as well as you will only get 18 min max on the drone battery. The reduced price for this package is outrageously awesome, just to bad that gopro didn't want to continue to create their ecosystem. Hope this helps/
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I'm going to say I doubt it. There is a different chassis for the hero 5 and the hero 6 that you have to get for the karma. I did go to best buy and look at all the ports on the hero 7 that would connect to the karma and they look identical. However, the physical camera size does look a little different, and the software might not be correct. If I find someone with a 7 I will try it and post another reply.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes it will, but make sure you update the firmware on the Karma drone, controller, and grip. The firmware on the new Hero 7 camera will also need to be updated. The firmware updates can be accessed on GoPro's website, along with instructions for updating the firmware. I have the Karma and the 7 and once you update these, they work seamlessly together. This is a sample video in 4K that I made recently using the Karma Drone and the Hero 7 Black: https://youtu.be/LaUCt9ZbzCg
