There are some SD cards that up to 256GB that we recommend for the MAX. The list of recommended cards is at https://gopro.com/help/articles/block/microSD-Card-Considerations. Recording time varies on the bitrate, frame rate and the resolution you choose, along with whether you're shooting in HERO mode (just using one lens) or in 360 mode.
