You can buy the battery by itself as is what this listing is for or you can buy the charger which comes with a battery. At the time i made my purchase the charger was 39 dollars and comes with a battery. this item you are looking at is a battery only for 19 dollars at time of writing this response

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.No, it's just the battery, no charger. Yes, you can charge it in the camera itself. GoPro also sells a 2-bay charging cradle (includes an extra battery) which I highly recommend.

The charger+battery combo is usually about ~$50 if you want to charge batteries outside of the camera. That comes with one battery, but you can charge two at once in the charger.
