If it's just hi res photos one by one all day, if it's timed sequence photos less, lower res video even less and 1080 HD video constant on is about 60-90 minutes. I'm a fly fishing guide and strap my camera on and go I have three batteries and will use up all three in a day. Good news though - they recharge in about the same speed as they deplete.
