• Yes it continues to be waterproof but only up to 10m. You have to use the solid backdoor if you want to go down further than 10m. With the solid door it is waterproof up to 60m.

• The skeleton lid is NOT designed for use underwater, it will allow water into the clear case and into your GoPro camera thus ruining it. The skeleton lid is only for OUT OF WATER shooting. If you ARE shooting IN WATER, use the clear SEALED acrylic case and make sure nothing (no lens) blocks the door from sealing and closing completely.
