Q: QuestionHelp....I bought a Green Works self propelled lawnmower. What do the charger flashing green lights mean? I can't find my book. I know it said something about taking batteries off and un plugging for a couple of minutes to reset.

• A:Answer Hello Vicky, A green flashing light indicates that the battery is charging. A solid green light indicates that the battery is fully charged. Flashing red - fault. False Defect Note: When the battery is inserted into the charger, and the status LED flashes, remove the battery from the charger for 1 minute, then reinsert. If the status LED indicates normal than the battery pack is good. If the status LED is still blinking, remove the battery pack and unplug the charger. Wait 1 minute and plug the charger back in and reinsert the battery pack. If the status LED indicates normal than the battery pack is good. If the status LED is still blinking then the battery pack is defective and needs to be replaced. Solid red means that the battery is at the wrong temperature to be charged (too hot or too cold). Bring the battery and charger indoors for about 15 minutes before trying to charge again. We hope this helps!

• A:Answer Hello Ckv60 - The battery charger does have an auto cut off to prevent it from over charging. However, we do advise customers to remove the battery from the charger after it has been fully charged and to also unplug the charger from the outlet, as this is good electrical safety practice to do so. This will also help to prevent false defects reading and allows the charger to reset itself each time it’s used to charge a battery.

Press and hold the ON switch safety lock out button, while continuing to push it in pull back on the bale. Hoping this was maybe a misstep and will be able to correct with these instructions.
