Q: Questionwill the 80 v 4 amp battery work with this unit? Will I need a different charger?

• A:Answer Hi winter. Thank you for your question. Each voltage line (24V/48V, 40V, 60V, 80V and 82V) has a set of tools that are only interchangeable within the same voltage platform. An 80V 2.0Ah battery will work in any 80V unit, it will not work in a 24V, 40V, 60V, or 82V unit. Only Greenworks batteries, chargers and machines of the same voltage are compatible and interchangeable with one another. We hope this helped!
