  • QuestionWhat is the runtime of this unit when fully charged?

    Asked by interested.

    • Answer Hi Interested. Thank you for your question. The estimated run time for the 80V 4.0AH battery would depend on the load and the tool, on average it will give you a run-time up to 35-40 minutes with regular use. Keep in mind when engaging in different settings on the unit, it may require more power, thus taking more from your battery when using, effecting runtime. • QuestionWill my other Greenworks batteries fit this machine?

    Asked by Bill.

    • Answer Hi Bill. Thank you for your interest. If the current battery platform you own is the Greenworks 80V, then yes, they will be compatible. Each voltage platform (24V/48V, 40V, 60V, 80V, and 82V) has a dedicated set of tools that are only interchangeable within the same voltage range. For example, an 80V 2.0Ah battery will work in any 80V unit but is not compatible with 24V/48V, 40V, 60V, or 82V units. Only Greenworks batteries, chargers, and machines of the same voltage are compatible and interchangeable. We hope this information helped!

  • QuestionWhat are the differences between the 80 V and 40 V 20 inch green works.

    Asked by Parry.

    • Answer Hi Parry. Thank you for your question. An 80V mower has more power and is better for large lawns or thick grass, while a 40V mower is suitable for small to medium yards with lighter mowing tasks. The 80V system provides more "gas-like" performance, though it is typically more expensive. The 40V system offers a balance of power and cost and is a good choice for many typical residential lawns. We hope this helped!
