For me, I realized once I had the battery compartment door open, that if you can slightly push down on the battery first, and simultaneously push down on the green battery release clip, it should release. It's spring loaded and pushing down on the battery helps relieve the tension.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.There's a green plastic tab at the top of the battery compartment you'll see when you lift the lid to open that compartment (see pic). Press down on the tab until you hear it click. That releases the battery so you can pull it out. It may seem like you're going to break it when you put pressure on it, but it needs adequate pressure to release it.
