- Answer No, but you can turn the entire thing and use as an edger. It is not as easy to use as an edger (I am not a pro) but it does work.

QuestionWhy do the pictures show a rear discharge bag when the specs say side discharge. I am not a big fan a side discharge as it limits the way a person cuts around corners and edges. Is there any way a person can get a rear discharge mower in this deal?
