• It is only necessary to put the activity tracker itself within the pouch.

• I have a friend that uses this because it seems that the trackers track better when on the shoe. Remember when Nike integrated their tracker into their shoes? Well this is how to get that done with other shoes. My friend uses it because he's on a stationary bike. Only trackers that are not wrist band styles will fit for obvious reasons.
