“Anyone have trouble redeeming my Nintendo reward points? My switch says “cannot collect points in country/region currently set for your Nintendo switch”. I’m set up on US account and this is a North America release.”

Same message for me also. I bought hollow knight not too long ago and it says something similar but different. I believe it just says points aren't redeemable at this time....
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Some of titles that are released physically on Nintendo Switch do not have Gold Points set up for redemption on the physical cartridges. This is something fairly common with indie titles or physical releases from smaller companies. A great example is all of the Best Buy copies of the Limited Run Games say the same thing and also do not have Gold Points redemption available. My Switch said the same thing when I tried to redeem the points for Guacamelee as well. Hope that helps. :)

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Late to answer but this depends on the Switch Region that you bought the unit from. If you bought a NA Switch and the game is from Japan or EU then you can't collect the points. Switch has a region checker so you can't just buy and get points. Unless you have a US Switch and the game is US based then you get the points so both have to match to work otherwise you can't get points. For DLC changing the NIN online account you can get the DLC that what works for me only.
