There's three things you should ask yourself to determine if you'll like this game. 1. Do you like 2D platforming? 2. Do you like Super Metroid? 3. Do you want to turn into a chicken? If you said yes to all three, this game will fulfill your oddly specific needs. I've only finished the first game and started the second but getting both fully available on the cartridge ready to go right away is a treat. The included soundtrack and other bonuses make this release significantly better than the digital downloads.

I’m glad I waited for this! The soundtrack to both games are included, a game manual (very cool!), and both games are on a single cart. Very nice pick-up! As far as the games, they’re exceptional “metroidvania” type games. Good humor, solid music, memorable visuals, and tight controls make this game excellent.

This is a must buy for any platform gamer this had all the content from the digital download it's fun challenging and very colorful and the music is also a plus and must buy.

Cool game with great art style. Okay story. A little repetitive but still a fun game. Two games in one is always great. Good pick up if you like 2D platforming type games. Not the best platformer/beatemup but worth a look.

The first Guacamelee was great and quite possibly very slept on. Bundle it with an awesome sequel and it's a shut up and take my money situation. There's so much to like here, clever Metroidvania gameplay, tons of atmosphere, and great music. Both games are definitely worth checking out.

Other than some difficulty optional stuff; it is one of the best Metroidvanias I have played. If you enjoy your platforming by collecting stuff getting stronger and being able to explore places again with new stuff this is a game I can't recommend enough.

While already previously owning part one on a different system, I couldn’t pass this offering up. These games are bad to the bone. Epic fights, tight, responsive controls, and very addicting. Excellent platform beat em ups.

One of my all time favorite metroidvania games, did I say one, I meant 2. 2 games packed in 1 cart for a great price. If you love games like hollow knight or bloodstained ritual of the night, then you will love these.

Metroidvania style gameplay... Wrestling style beat-em-up combat. Funny, fun, lots to do and explore. Some of the puzzle sections are deceptively difficult. Nice moderately challenging combo of games.

This game just gets better and better the more you get into it. smooth controls, fun gameplay, and a ton of content in one package! If you like Metroidvanias, give this one a go!

Not only fun, but both whole games are on the cartridge, and it comes with some neat extra stuff inside the case. Must buy at a good price.

If you played the original you already know how good this game is. For newcomers you get 2 games for the price of 1, its a win win! Go buy it!

Two of my favorite Metroidvania style games in the last few years. The Mexiverse provides a nice setting for the game. Both games provide a decent challenge, but nothing too crazy. They're both very funny with numerous nods and references to old games and movies (Street fighter reference in Guacamelee 2 was probably my favorite part of the game). Buy this; you won't be disappointed.

Well, this game is quite unusual but fun at the same time. And with this package, you get 2 in 1 so you can't beat that. I think if you can find it for the right price, there is no reason to not try this game out. You might find that you really enjoy it.

This game is pure joy to play, top notch graphics, music, culture, and best of all platforming along with wrestling moves.
