It has a pet immune but I haven't used it. It all depends on the size of the pet and what kind of pet. A small dog. Certainly. A huge cockatoo that wonders the house or large dog? Many factors here

I use mine to monitor my dog who normally hangs out in one room when I'm gone. The camera is in that room.

It will pick up your pets when it is working. Unfortunately this camera is terrible and it does not last.
