• Yes we had to file in 2 states and just had to pay for the additional state

• Yes. When you get to the state portion of the program, you can purchase additional states for a fee. Some versions of the program provide 1 state, so check the specs of the program being purchased. The program will know when you get to the state portion whether you've purchased it with 1 state provided or not. At the state portion of the program you then choose what state you want to download.
