QuestionDoes this H&R Block Tax Software Deluxe 2017 with State for Windows allow you to import last years information from Tax-Act software? This is very important to me because I have been a Tax-Act user for many, but price to high now.

QuestionCan one file by mail the state tax for free? I mean use this program to process, then print, and mail out? Does CA accept paper returns?

- Answer Yes, you can print out your forms to file by mail. I prefer to file electronically, which runs about $20 in MN

- Answer Yes. Once your payment processes, look in your Best Buy "Digital Library" to obtain the download link. You will need to sign into your account for this. Then it downloads and you install. Note, it will require an activation code to e-file. That code is KEY CODE in the product listed your "DIGITAL LIBRARY." Best Buy does not make this clear at all and this can cause confusion as to obtaining full functionality

- Answer They charge for all state files from what I can tell. If you do not purchase one with a state, they charge you another $9.95 just for the forms, and then any state you Efile you will be charged $19.95. You can print and mail in for free.

- Answer Yes you can get as many states as you need, but only one is provided in the software purchase price. Each additional state cost extra.
