• Mine came on a CD and was easy to install. H&R Block offers downloads direct to your computer.

• We bought the program at the store and it came with a Hard copy (cd). I'm not sure if you could download a Digital copy.

• If it doesn't say 'Digital download' you are purchasing the disk to install. Another note: I purchased the CD and my friend purchased the download since her mac didn't have a CD drive. The download wouldn't work and she had to request a refund. I have had no issues with installing or utilized the software I purchased.
