• Yes you can e-file both federal and state. It allows you to e-file 5 federal tax returns at no charge. However, in order to e-file your state there is an additional charge per return. Previous filing years has been $14.99 each. Not sure if this 2020 year will remain the same cost as I have not filed returns yet. Or you can choose to e-file federal for free and print the state and mail it in. This is what I have done in previous years. So, you can e-file both, e-file one and print/mail the other, or print and mail both. Your choice.
