Hi Matt, This unit is not counter depth. The unit has the following overall dimensions: Width: 28 in, Height: 71 in, Depth: 26.5 in. The unit is 23.5 in without the door. The cord is located about midway up the back of the refrigerator and is just about centered from left to right. Thanks for checking with us. Sadie@Haier
