QuestionHow do you clean the stainless steel? I tried the directions of soap & water, clear water then wipe with soft cloth and it doesn't work. The side panels are very thin stainless steel...is this normal?

- Answer Hello rackman - To clean your stainless steel range: Do a preliminary clean of your appliance with vinegar: Spray your appliance liberally with vinegar and use a soft cotton or microfiber cloth to wipe the vinegar off. Rub in the direction of the grain. Wiping across the striations can cause scratches to appear. Similarly using certain types of paper towels can scratch the finish. A cotton or microfiber cloth is recommended. - TREY@HAIER

QuestionInterior width size of oven is larger than you have stated. It's was 2 months that I contemplated ordering this 24" stainless range due to the opening width of the oven stated by you. Finally ordered, received and opening is 17"W so pyrex dish fits!!

QuestionThank you for your quick response to my Q. regarding usage during a power outage. Very interesting & informative answer. I read that the opening to the oven is only 13.5" although the width is 23.4. Is that correct? Can't find any reviews on this stove

QuestionIf an electrical power outage occurs can the top burners of a gas stove still be used? I know the oven is electrically ignited.

- Answer Hello rackman - In case of prolonged power failure, the surface burners can be lit manually. Hold a lit match near a burner and turn knob counterclockwise until the indicator is aligned with MAX. After the burner is lit, turn knob to desired setting. If the flame is extinguished, the safety valve intervenes by shutting off the gas to the burners. - TREY@HAIER

QuestionI was told by Sears that the 24" gas range has NO electric ignition. is this correct? If not, do you manufacture A MODEL THAT NEEDS NO ELECTRICITY

- Answer Hello - This model has electronic ignition. While it uses a natural gas for fuel, Electricity is needed to power the ignition system. We do not offer any gas ranges that do not require electricity. - TREY@HAIER
