Sandy: Unplug. Get as much water as possible out. 2-3 cups of pink color Recreational Anti Freeze pour into wash tub. RV anti freeze also good in toilet tanks and bowls. Get as much water out as possible. All sink drains. Do not use automotive anti freeze. Corrosive. 53224
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Hello sandy - To prevent damage, the washer should be stored in a space that will not see the temperature drop below 32 degrees F. If that is not possible: Disconnect the hoses from the water supply and drain out the water from the hoses. Remove washer drain hose from drain. Lay hose on the floor and allow water to drain into a shallow pan or on the ground. Carefully raise the front of the washer 4" to 6" to allow any remaining water in the pump to drain out of the drain hose. Be advised that any water remaining in the tub or drain pump will expand upon freezing and potentially cause damage. When it's time to use the washer again, simply connect the hoses at the faucets and turn the faucets back on, plug the washer back in to wall receptacle. - TREY@HAIER
