“I purchased this unit and i am very happy with your product. But i am wondering what steps i have to do to ensure proper winterizing of this unit. Please advise i am going to unhook from water supply but i am worried about remaining water in the unit?”

Hello Ron1 - To prevent damage, the washer should be stored in a space that will not see the temperature drop below 32 degrees F. If that is not possible: Disconnect the hoses from the water supply and drain out the water from the hoses. Remove washer drain hose from drain. Lay hose on the floor and allow water to drain into a shallow pan or on the ground. Carefully raise the front of the washer 4" to 6" to allow any remaining water in the pump to drain out of the drain hose. Be advised that any water remaining in the tub or drain pump will expand upon freezing and potentially cause damage. When it's time to use the washer again, simply connect the hoses at the faucets and turn the faucets back on, plug the washer back in to wall receptacle. - TREY@HAIER
