A:AnswerI use fabric softener, not much, about a quarter or less of a cap. I don't have trouble with static cling. As long as the product is compatible, any would work. I use Swavtel from Walmart. Works just as good as any other brand.
A:AnswerHello Niki. The drain plug can be removed to check for a clog. Instructions for doing this are on page 27 of your Owner's Manual: https://products.haierappliances.com/MarketingObjectRetrieval/Dispatcher?RequestType=PDF&Name=HLC1700AXS%20User%20Manual.pdf
Thank you for checking. Olga
A:AnswerHi John, Just put one on my boat. I did have to partially disassemble to get in through the door opening. The one thing I didn't realize is that this unit uses water running through the condensor to dry your clothes. I thought this was going to be the perfect unit for the boat but now unsure. I got it in but haven't plumbed it in yet, so unsure of the water use. We pack a lot of water but still may be a problem on long trips.
A:AnswerHello. The overall depth is 23.625 in. With 1" clearance you will need 24.625 in of depth to accommodate the unit. Thank you for checking. Olga
A:AnswerHello. This unit needs 1" air clearance in the back. The design of the washer allows the room for the hoses and connectors. No additional room is needed beyond 1 ". Thank you for checking. Olga
A:AnswerThe dry level is set as it is a condenser dryer. U can however adjust the amount of time the unit dries with the 2 buttons on bottom right of option display. One button is more the other is less time
A:AnswerThis one can. We have it installed in our kitchen - under counter. It takes the same space as some dishwashers and just requires a normal 110V outlet and water/drain. No dryer vent needed. We love ours!
A:AnswerYes, we have it as an under counter unit in our kitchen. It fits perfectly at standard cabinet height. All it needs is a normal home outlet (110V) and also needs no dryer vent line run. Takes a bit longer to wash and dry than separate units, but there is no transferring of clothes. It washes and then it dries. You don't need to be there. Took a little while to get used to the differences but now we love it!
