I use it outside in the summer on camping trips and it works fine. Gets as cold as you need it, even makes ice. Live in Michigan and it was 80 every day of our last trip. Little bit of condensation on the top but worked great.

The ideal temperature inside the refrigerator itself is between 35-40 degrees Fahrenheit. Generally, you want to start with the temperature setting in the middle position and allow the refrigerator to stay that way for at least 3 days. After three days, adjust the setting to a higher or lower number to suit your preference. Allow the unit to stabilize one day before making another change. - TREY@HAIER
