A:AnswerSeems like a factory warranty only. I bought mine online and was delivered by the BB fulfilment center. It came slightly damaged but was able to get a credit. If you mail in the registration you get an additional three months warranty. Good because my experience make me believe they only last about a year.
A:AnswerI use it outside in the summer on camping trips and it works fine. Gets as cold as you need it, even makes ice. Live in Michigan and it was 80 every day of our last trip. Little bit of condensation on the top but worked great.
