• A:Answer Hello There. This model Electrical Requirements are: 120V; 60Hz; 15A. A 115 Volt AC, 60 Hz, 15- or 20-amp fused, grounded electrical supply is required. Q: QuestionI need a maximum depth fridge of 25". This particular model seemed to fit the bill at an advertised depth of 25 1/4"as shown on the schematic drawing . However, when it gets to the actual dimensions, it is described as 301/2". Which is correct?

Q: QuestionThe refrigerator is leaking water onto the top shelf from the back top vent. My landlord told me to leave the dial on 5 and the vent should stay frozen, but it's not. It's still leaking and my landlord isn't any help. Can you please help me?

Q: QuestionRecently purchased a Haier 9.8 Cf top freezer/fridge. The fridge is maintaining an acceptable temperature but the freezer isn't staying cold. Should the setting be set to min or maximum on the freezer section?

• A:Answer Hello Corundrum - Refrigerator dimensions – 18” deep by 20” wide by 26” tall, note the values are provided with the crisper drawer in place The very bottom of the fridge is not a flat bottom to account for the compressor so the space gained by removing the drawer is not level. -TREY@HAIER

Q: QuestionThe manual online and pays a lot of attention to the noises that this refrigerator makes And that they are normal?? How loud are these three different noises?? CS Does not answer the phone?? I don’t want it waking me up and annoying me at night.

• A:Answer I’ve had this fridge over a year. I can tell you the sounds are strange but not invasive - to me, anyway. It occasionally pops or crackles. The sounds that is oddest is like a loud sigh. I’ve had a lot of old refrigerators that had an audible running sound. This fridge is silent except when it makes those very intermittent odd sounds.

Q: QuestionWhy do I get standing water on the top shelf of my haier frig.

• A:Answer I share this problem with other 9,8 owners. I will tear into it and ensure the condensate drain hose is not plugged but not too sure about that. The unit has never had food in it that would cause this issue. I put a plastic pan on the top glass shelf a few days ago and the water seems to no longer be an issue. Now wondering if the extremely cold air from the freezer section is causing moist air to condense on the top shelf (and yes, it freezes there). If this thread remains open, I will report back after diagnosing. I am a retired refrigeration service technician BTW.
