- Answer All of the parts are dishwasher safe. As with all plastic items, they should not put on the bottom rack.

- Answer After you drink all you want from a brewing, take out the filter cup and wash out the internal basket. There is a small button-type thing at the front, and sometimes if a coffee ground gets in it it may stick open. This has cured our issues.
