Does the popcorn taste like theatre style popcorn? null

It can, depends how you make it and the products you use!

Depends what kind of popcorn you use and the oils and flavorings you add to it.

I would say "Yes" that the popcorn does taste like movie theatre-style popcorn, but that would also depend on the brand of popcorn as well. I only use two brands of popcorn: Orville Redenbacher Popcorn and Pop Secret. I have used other store brands and they do not fare very well in taste. Great popper though! Because movie night has become more popular these days, I am actually in the process of acquiring another popper.
