“Is it normal for the metal to make popping sounds while the toaster over is heating up? Every time I turn on my toaster oven, for the first couple of minutes I hear popping noises. Once the oven gets to the desired temperature it stops.”

Mine does the same thing. Once it heats up a little it stops.But it works great.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I’ve owned 3 of these small toaster/convection ovens, but this is the 1st one that was by Hamilton Beach. I’ve had it a year or two and it terrifies me to even use it because every time I do it makes the loudest popping sounds the entire time. It doesn’t stop until it cools down. I wish I would’ve returned it.
