Push the pod down first into the pin and then close the top. It’s the pods

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Sounds like the pin in the bottom of the k cup holder is not piercing the bottom of the cup. If there is no hole in the bottom, the coffee has to exit out the top. Mine also was not piercing the bottom of the cup. Even pushing the cup down. I took a file and sharpened the piercing tip. I used it until they sent me a replacement.
